The original Cetelem brand was transformed into the new bank HELLO BANK! within the French network of BNP Paribas. This transformation involved a meticulous rebranding process, for which Vkontextu studio was entrusted with creating a comprehensive redesign concept. Their efforts led to the successful introduction of the new brand to the market.
Good communication with the client is a crucial aspect of a well‑functioning bank. The visual style of Hello bank! is centered around a unique logotype derived from the communication bubble, which complements the diverse illustrated world.
As part of the rebranding process, five components of the visual style manuals were developed, including the basic brand manual, a summary of the revised communication, electronic communication, corporate and gift items, and guidelines for applying the visual style within the branch network. These materials were then organized and uploaded to an internal online database that we designed and created.
The studio worked for three years on the design, production and implementation of a wide range of outdoor and indoor communication.
The coordination of the exterior and interior design for all common areas of the Hello bank! headquarters on Radlicka Street in Prague involved working closely with architects and production teams.
The interior wall coverings in the employee areas were used to create privacy. Meeting rooms within all six floors of the cannelier building bore the names of the major European capitals and the illustrations carried their symbolism.
Hello mascot Blesk was drawn in illustrated and 3D form and materialized into a physical gift for the children of the bank's valued clients.
